This is a very important point to be remembered when you grow plants hydroponically. Also, remember that hydroponic systems that are built perfectly will make the plants resistant to diseases and extremely healthy. In this article, you will learn the easiest and more efficient growing tips for your plants.

Three Important Elements to Feed Hydroponic Plants!

First of all, you must remember that hydroponic plants should be provided with three important elements, namely potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus. Apart from iron, magnesia and calcium, these are three crucial ingredients all hydroponic plants require!

The Other Important Ingredients

Nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus must be mixed correctly. Once you accomplish this step perfectly, you should get the secondary nutrients right. Moving on, you must focus on hormones, vitamins, minerals and artificial ingredients that will enrich the health of hydroponic plants. You should use a TDS and pH meter to check the strength of these elements.

A Simple Plan

Here is a simple plan on how to feed hydroponic plants proficiently:

• When you grow plants hydroponically, you should feed 400 ppm Maxsea 3/20/20 to your plants on the first 10 days. The mixture should be made in 1 teaspoon/gallon of water. Now, add a quarter teaspoon of salts like magnesium to the mixture.

• During week two, you should feed the plants 600 ppm Maxsea 16/16/16. Even to this mixture you must add a quarter teaspoon of Epsom salts and minerals.

• Once stage – 2 gets done, you must increase the concentration of Maxsea gradually. This is also known as the transition period. Here, you must make a nutrient mixture with 800 ppm Maxsea 3/20/20. The mixture must be sprayed on the hydroponic plants; two weeks before harvesting. Experts state that 800 ppm Maxsea 3/20/20 would enhance the flavour and aroma of all garden produces.

Seaweed Addictives!

When you feed hydroponic plants, you should be very careful and alert! The nutrients should be customized carefully based on the plants you harvest. For instance, when you grow ornamental flowering plants, you should make use of seaweed additives. This is a famous plant hormone supplement. Most Maxsea fertilizers comprise of seaweed additives. Thus, the benefits of seaweeds are present within the supplement!

The Right Mix!

While mixing nutrients for your hydroponic plants, you should not combine concentrated versions of the nutrient in little water. Hydroponic nutrients must be mixed properly! According to experts, 2- and 3- parts of water should be mixed for a certain reason. Based on the nutrient’s formulation, dilution will become tougher and longer.

Adding nutrients properly!

Moving on, which part of the nutrient should be included in the hydroponic nutrient mixture initially? Should you consider the phosphates or carbonates? Generally, if water in your region is highly alkaline, you should show extra care while adding the nutrients. This is because alkaline solutions have special elements like copper, iron, manganese, calcium and zinc.
